The Desert Initiative: Desert One passport is your key to discover and explore 31 venues across the four desert regions of North America. Each venue is presenting original exhibitions, lectures, events and other programming that explores the desert as both site and subject from September 2012 to April 2013. Bring your passport with you to each venue you visit and request a unique embossing stamp available only at that venue. You can also register each of your visits by text message, tweet, mobile web or online using your unique passport number located on the inside front cover of your passport. Incentives and awards will be offered to individuals who visit the greatest number of venues during Desert Initiative: Desert One. Venues that receive the most visitors will also receive recognition. Specific incentives will be listed on this page as they are announced, so check back here regularly.
